Cookie record

This page describes cookies and similar storage on cache-routecore.digital. It sits beside our privacy notice. Last updated 13 August 2026.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Similar tools include localStorage, which this desk uses to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional analytics. Cookies can be essential to running a page, or optional, used to understand readership. They are not a payment mechanism and they do not log you into a student portal on this static site.

Types we use

Essential. Required to remember your cookie choice and to keep navigation and forms usable. These do not depend on the banner’s Accept button. Rejecting optional cookies does not remove essential storage.

Analytics (optional). Used only if you press Accept. They help us see which journal notes and programme pages are read, in aggregate. They are not used to build a marketing profile for sale. If you press Reject, analytics cookies are not set by us. The site, forms, programmes list, and legal pages continue to work.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
cache-routecore-cookie-consent Stores Accept or Reject so the banner does not return on every page load. Until you clear site data (localStorage) Cache Routecore (first party)
crc_session_hint Essential load-balancing / host session hint if the hosting layer sets one. Not used for advertising. Session or up to 24 hours Site host (first party or host)
crc_read_agg Optional analytics: aggregate page-path counts after Accept. Never sent if you Reject. 14 months Cache Routecore (first party)
_ga / similar Optional third-party analytics, loaded only after Accept if we enable a measurement tag in a given season. Up to 14 months (vendor default) Analytics vendor (third party), if enabled

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the banner. Your choice is stored under the brand-prefixed key cache-routecore-cookie-consent. To decide again, clear localStorage for this site or site data in your browser settings, then reload; the banner will return.

You can also block cookies in the browser itself (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge each have a cookies or privacy panel). Blocking all cookies may also remove the consent memory, so the banner may reappear. Disabling JavaScript will hide the banner and the injected header; pages remain readable as HTML.

Third-party cookies

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and images from public hosts such as Unsplash and Pexels. Those requests may allow those providers to see your IP address and referrer. They may set their own cookies according to their policies. We do not control those cookies. Optional analytics vendors, if enabled after Accept, are third parties listed in the table above.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting or blocking analytics does not block enrolment enquiries, reading syllabi, or visiting the Bangrak address pages. You may see the consent banner more often if essential storage is cleared. If you block all cookies and all localStorage, we cannot remember Reject either; the banner will ask again. Programme access itself is not gated on cookies.
