Bangrak · desk opened 2019

A quiet desk for noisy fintech metrics.

Fintech App Analytics, taught in English Evening labs on Surawong Road 218 alumni across SEA product teams

We work with product managers, growth leads, and risk analysts who live inside wallet, lending, and QR payment apps. The work is not dashboard decoration. It is learning how activation, decline codes, and KYC friction actually move.

What the desk actually changes

Less theatre, more readable numbers

Capture that a risk team can trust

We start with event hygiene: what fired, what double-counted, and what never left the client. Alumni leave with a naming sheet their data engineer will actually accept.

Funnels drawn to the product, not the template

Wallet top-up is not signup. Lending drawdown is not checkout. Each programme rebuilds geometry around the real state machine of a Thai or regional fintech app.

Language for the board packet

A metric that cannot survive a sceptical CFO is not finished. We practise short write-ups that name the limitation in the same paragraph as the claim.

How study runs

A short path from first note to rewrite

Week 0

Audit packet

You send a redacted event dictionary or a screenshot set. We mark the three holes that will waste the rest of the course if left alone.

Weeks 1–4

Studio hours + worksheets

Recorded lessons stay short. The live hour is spent on your funnel, not a synthetic demo app with perfect data.

Close

Readout on Surawong, or remote

A twelve-minute narrative: what changed, what still lies, and what you will not claim next quarter.

From recent seats

Notes, not slogans

All notes

The Payment Path decline taxonomy finally gave our ops lead a shared language with product. We stopped arguing about “failed payments” as if that were one thing.

★★★★☆ 4/5

Clear on instrumentation. A bit slow on Thai e-KYC vendor specifics. Still the only course that made our activation chart stop lying.
